He holds a Masters in Filmmaking and Producing from the New York Film Academy and an MBA from International American University, Los Angeles. The Journey of a Filmmaker
His journey in filmmaking began in India, where he studied at Punjabi University and developed a passion for motion pictures and storytelling. His talent and dedication led him to Mumbai, where he gained extensive experience working with major industry players. Determined to expand his expertise, Apoorv moved to the United States, where he pursued a Master’s in Filmmaking and Producing at the New York Film Academy, Los Angeles. Alongside his creative pursuits, he earned an MBA from International American University, Los Angeles, equipping him with the business acumen to navigate the complexities of the entertainment industry.

In 2017, Apoorv laid the foundation for Apoorv Arora Films, officially registering the company in 2021. Over the years, he has cultivated a dedicated team of freelance professionals, producing various films. Apoorv has worked with renowned artists such as Priyanka Chopra, Diljit Dosanjh, Preity Zinta, Jacqueline Fernandez, Austin Mahone, Ammy Virk, B Praak, and Sidhu Moose Wala. His work has been associated with The Walt Disney Company, White Hill Studios, Balaji Telefilms, Yash Raj Films, and MTV.
A Commitment to Meaningful Stories
Beyond commercial success, Apoorv is committed to producing films that inspire and create social impact. He has worked extensively with artists of color and the LGBTQ+ community, producing projects like Come To Me by J. Breckenridge (featured in Playbill Magazine) and Olorun Maje by Sir Boyò, which received various awards at film festivals. Most recently, he has been focused on producing independent feature films.
